Default Does a C3 have a bad angle?

I've been following a C8 thread the last few days about how they look better in person than in pics.
I agree with most that they do. But the biggest excuse seems to be the angle that a pic is taken.
That got me thinking. I've owned my C3 for over 45 years now and I've seen a ton of pics.
I can't think of one single time that I saw a pic and thought man, bad angle. Chrome or rubber.
What do you guys think? Does anyone have a "bad angle" pic? Or was the C3 just the perfect design......

The only bad angle I can think of is if you're looking at a C3 from all angles and you don't own one.

That's a really good question. I would say its most unattractive look is with the headlights popped up. Lots of people have addressed this with their own mods, mostly unsuccessfully in my opinion. Otherwise, unlike the newer generations, I have to agree.

For me the 74-79 cars need a rear spoiler. They look kinda bullet shaped without it, and it looks like the rear quarters dive downwards too much. Having a front spoiler is a huge plus, but they look good without it.

Other than that, there really isn't a bad angle on them.

This is my version of the rear spoiler:

How 'bout upside down in the ditch?

That would be a bad angle... he he

But in all seriousness, I get your point and agree with you 100%

The only bad angle Ive seen is when the car is missing a spare tire carrier. Then any angle from the rear looks bad. Big gaping hole, ecch.

I think the spare tire carrier and mufflers gives the car a bad angle. I like to see the rear suspension and differential. No need to hide it.

I agree. I like the view without the spare. Here’s a shot of my ‘73 up on the lift, so it’s an exaggerated angle, but I think a clean underbody shot from the back without the spare carrier is pretty cool.

Yours looks great because you did such a nice job with the mufflers. I kind of wish I would have done that. But, I do have the big gaping hole and pretty pumpkin for now. I am not sweating it because it will be a perfect place for the batteries someday down the road.

plus most people don't climb under cars to see how pretty they are. the down-under view is not what we usually look for. at least not in cars...

now excuse me while i go pleasure myself.
