That is the casting number for an Intake Manifold for 1975 till 1979. The engine block casting number is at the rear of engine just forward of the bell housing.
That is GM casting number 3462497. It is for the casting ONLY. The finished part number( AFTER machining) would be different. Why did they "wrap" the part number (2 rows of numbers)? Because they needed to replace an old set of numbers and the new numbers were LARGER and wouldn't fit in the existing space. 1970's GM part "quality"....
There should also be a date code on your manifold. For curiosity, check to see if it predates the build date of your car. Code usually near distributor.
