I bet you're right. It might be more economical to find a used or 3rd-party part, in this case.
I can give it a shot or have someone local try, but it sounds like I'll need a backup plan.
Dave J (post #6) hasn't been active for a while but maybe worth an email to, otherwise looks like Corvette central was used, I checked their website and it's still being done.

I sent mine to corvette central it was back at the house in 2 weeks they did all the holes , shipping was a little expensive but it came back in one piece and I was happy it was done right
