Differential seal installation
Everything is ready to install the new bearings, races and seals on my 77 differential (L & R side only. I will leave the pinion alone, because there wasn't any leak there).
Can I use Lucas Red n Tacky to make it easier to slide the bearings and seals in place or is that a bad idea?
Are there important things I have to keep in mind when installing the bearings, races and seals (No pinion!)?
what is your axle yoke end play? Are you inspecting, tuning clutches?
i took advice and changed the pinion seal not the bearing as it will leak eventually..
My advice received and assembly below
