Default Bought a Corvette

I joined the Forum a while back when I was looking for a Corvette, but finally found what I was looking for. I bought a 1977 L-82 Corvette yesterday. The previous owner was a fine fellow and advertised the car accurately. It left the factory painted black, but now is Bright Yellow. I love yellow! Here are a few pics...

No it is not. That beauty is the sellers other car - it is really awesome. He was using the yellow one I bought as his daily while he restored the Tan one.

Thanks Mike. It was a trip back in time. I just always loved these C3s. Dad was into the C2s, his first C3 was a green roadster, a bare bones 4 speed car with a green interior and white top. He didn't love it and went back to C2s.

Good luck with your 77, I like that yellow, not super bright but not to sleepy either. The 77 is a little like the 68 being there were lots of 1 year only parts.
My 77 is tan also. The color isn't for everyone.... but works for me with the dark brown interior. Enjoy it!

Best year ever! According to you & me anyway.

Somebody swapped out the rear bumper panel. Hope that wasn't by accident.
The Sports Mirror option really sets it off.

Nice! Did the PO change the color, and smooth-in the front bumper?

The 80-82 rear bumper really looks good on that car.

Congratulations! Now go drive the wheels off!

Love the Tan cars, Very seldom seen color and they look GREAT with the brown cabin.

Maybe. I understand there is a pretty decent 'Cars and Coffee' in Lansdale. Saw a few Vettes spotted there in the 'Vette Spotters thread. Give a yell if you decide to make one, I'll head down.

Same here...not a yellow fan but really like that shade. Is that sunflower yellow?
Looks great on certain 60s pony cars and vettes.

Not sure about color change Bikespace. I would bet the seller did not paint the car because the color on the hood does not match the rest of the yellow. The fellow I bought it from is presently having a different hood painted to match.
