I located a 78 anniversary model, super clean,50K original miles,L82 , two tone silver , all orig and everything works (except the clock) and the price is right
I did not want this model it kinda presented itself to me ,I have no intentions of leaving whatever C3 I buy stock but would it be a terrible thing
to resto mod up this 25th anniversary model ? Id like to make the engine a 383 roller motor, headers, converter add a sound system (it has the orig 8 track)
but it worries me that since its a 25th anniversary model it may not be a good candidate to mod up
After you buy it, it becomes your car, and you can do what you want with it!
Over 15,000 78 cars came as silver edition, nearly 33% of all 78s. Have at it! A Corvette that is loved, maintained, modded, and DRIVEN, is worth a dozen low-mileage NCRS trailer queens.
You can add a stealth bluetooth amp and any engine/transmission you want and keep a completely stock appearance inside and out No one will know until you pop the hood, or gap them.
it can be super clean and be a rusty POS. roll down to post 107. read. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...orvette-6.html what i also recommend is find the cheapest beat local vette to you to look at. gives you an idea of what to avoid in 3D. kind of like looking at women in front of the welfare office or a methadone clinic. and take your time. it is better to regret the car you passed on 6 months ago than to regret the one you did buy 6 months ago.
