The right front brake line doesn’t come near the clutch cross shaft on my 69. The only line that crosses the plane of the cross shaft is the line from the distribution block that runs along the left frame rail and it runs under the cross shaft.

On an 80, the brake line runs along the frame rail and crosses at the front cross member, should not come near the clutch tube. It drops down from the master cylinder to the distribution block. Page 339 of the 1980 AIM.
