Engine Smoke
New to classic cars and very excited to learn. Bought my C3 a year ago, and now that it’s warm enough I’ve been wanting to cruise. However, I’ve noticed smoke coming from the engine. Appears to be oil burning off, leaking from somewhere around the engine. Any thoughts/solutions would be appreciated.

There're not a whole lot of oil leaking opportunities on the passenger side so valve cover gasket is most likely. Oil leaks out the valve cover gaskets and it encounters the exhaust manifold mounting points and runs down the block -- very common issue. It should burn off to the point of not seeing it at all. Additionally, the engine is tilted slightly so that the back of the valve cover is subjected to more oil flow than the front. You can see how the rear of the manifold has darker (stained) tone than the front.
