1970 LT1 matching number car. All original never restored. I found one sitting in a old building I know it's rare but I know know the worth of the car it's in really good shape and dark green. The vin match's and is the right vin for the vett black book. But the value and some other things to look for. Could anyone give me some help?
First thing first. Lets verify if it's actually an LT1. Many people think a car is an LT1 when in fact it is not. There is a list of about 20 factors to consider because the VIN in 1970 and 1971 do not indicate the engine option. Pics and other info needed for any informed answer.
a 70 vette is a valuable car or it is a rusty POS. doesn't matter if LT1, LS6 or base model. the condition is more important than the engine option. roll down to post 107. read. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...orvette-6.html
Thank for the input I have the paperwork on the car. It's a lt1 and in real great shape I just put it in the shop. There going to do tuneup on the car then back to Alabama. I have pictures tomorrow

Welcome to the forum.
Please post those pics when you can. When you state that you have paperwork do you mean things like the tank sticker or window sticker? If so, please post pics of them. There is a great deal of forged documents out there that look real but there are ways to identify it. Many people have been fooled then find out when it’s too late.
Hopefully your car is a genuine LT1.
