Back Spacing
I purchased Gragar 61C rims for my 1979 corvette they are 15x8 5x4.75" Bolt Circle with 4.250 Back Spacing. When I went to the garage to have them installed; I just took on the rim to make sure it worked but it hit the brake caliber before it seats. What back spacing size should I go to?? Thanks Mike

You have the right size, and you have the right backspacing. You have just discovered why more Corvettes don't run Cragars.......the stock calipers are too large for them to seat. You must use 1/2" spacers with those rims to clear stock C3 calipers. The spacers are available from Cragar if you order them.
