Not that it matters since you're going back to the twin-latch panels. My car was converted to single latch and I've got a set of the M1131 glass and a set of painted ones and they both seal fine on the center.
I half wonder if someone has way too much shims under the front center pin on your glass roof and it's holding it raised in the center as you show.
Again, not that it matters

Those centre pins are removed for my pics showing it can't go down anymore. Al 4 corners of glass are touching, and the gaps are still there. To my eye the glass has too much bend in them. Fiberglass ones have slight bend more matching roof shape. So my glass ones never fit any car I believe.

mine used to fit like that too I bought the replacement stock t tops only to find they were no better actually... The glass ones seal up fine now with new weatherstripping and shims installed for the pins that go into the center "t" brace which help pull it down.

Old one are on and fit perfect, settle right down into frame, can't even see seals. Glass ones as seen are popped way up. And as said that is with no hardware in middle and unlocked. They are literally bent way too much. All 4 glass corners are touching, so it's physically impossible to get it low enough for the seal to touch. Tried 3 sets of new seals, all fit the same, all had a half inch gap. Old tops, fit perfectly, will never leak, so good a fit I can't see seal anywhere. Guessing previous owner purchased a bad set of glass tops. Can't figure out how they could get bent like they are. Look like a banana compared to stock ones. I've also done the set up procedure about 10 times. Tops are pooched. I like the fiber ones anyways. Work better with air con and look way better. I like the 2 latches, seems way tighter and secure than the little pin. What a score. These things are hard to find. Need the guide pins but they work fine as is. Gonna do the tri coat on them Saturday, gonna paint the liners too. There red, I need black. Thanks again for all the insight.
