Pic of engine stamp pad on a '69 small block car I'm interested in:



Any ideas what spec it is?

What do you think the last three characters are? Perhaps ask the owner to clean the paint off?

I'm guessing TBF, and with that shaped stamp pad, it's from the late 70s or later. So:

TBF 1979 350 convcab, alt, fed L LS9 165hp, K-10,15,20

Thanks for the reply and link. I agree those last three characters look very much like TBF.

I was only at the early stages of considering this car and asked for the stamp pad to try and determine if it was at least a period correct block. That's been blown out of the water now so I won't bother the owner to clean up the pad.

Time to move on to the next one!
