I've been working on the wiper door of my '72 coupe. After replacing the windshield wiper blades, I put the door back on the car to judge the proper position. But the door was sitting high.
It turns out that the passenger side wiper arm is interfering with the underside of the wiper door. This photo was taken from the engine bay, underneath the wiper door.
With the wiper door removed.
The assembly manual shows that both wiper arms are the same part number but the ones on my car are clearly different. Any opinions on what the problem might be?
The right wiper arms are going to have the adjustment screws on the sides,
IIRC 68 was different, 69 - 73 are the same with the adjuster, and then 74 up was fixed like what you have. I believe a lot of them got changed to the 74+ because that's what was available until they starter reproping them.
FWW: I did get the newer style arm to work on my 72 using the newer one piece blade which was thinner than the original style.

I think KEEN was selling the correct ones at one point, probably everyone else as well but be careful since they usually say they fit 68-82, which I guess they kind of do but...

My passenger wiper arm appears to be the same as interpon showed in his pictures. Looking into this it appears someone had installed a '74-'82 arm at some point. I'll order the set that C3 Stroker had linked (which is also oddly listed up to '74).
Must be early 74, I don't think they needed the adjustment screw bit after the wiper doors stopped so maybe just didn't get around to removing it and saving $.02 per arm
