I hope all is well with the Corvette Forum community. I haven't been here in a while, though I am reaching out to you all for assistance today in diagnosing my idling issues. I just started my C3 for the first time in about a month and it is idling rough (see attached video). Does anyone have any advice on how to diagnose this issue? If so please feel free to share, any and all advice is welcome and appreciated.
My ex had a 84. Same setup, rough idle on hers I found one plug wire burnt through and a vacuum line popped off I think to the cruise control. But a small vacuum leak can really play with your EFI. Even if your headlights still operate.
Check all the normal tune up stuff first.
Fuel pressure is important on these crossfires as well.
You want to see 13 PSI at the throttle bodys.
12 is probably OK. These things will run funny if that pressure drops for any reason.
