Default Wipers not working.

Wipers not working. They seem to do this every year around inspection time. They worked the last time I drove the car. Here's what I did since then. i had to paint the nose of the car. I took the wiper door off with the whole chassis. Put it back in when I finished. Hooked everything back up.
Well went to check them today and the door opened and the wipers went up a little and stopped. Pushed them back down to see if the door closes. Door works fine. Goes up and down. When the door goes open wipers don't go on. What to check. Fuses are all good. Everything is new. Which doesn't mean much.

Check the wiper door limit switch and make sure that it stays fully pressed in while the wipers begin their upward motion.

Yes. There is a bent arm that holds a threaded stud that looks like a trumpet. The wide part of the trumpet pushes against the switch when the wiper door opens. This closes the switch circuit that allows the wiper motor to run.

Sometimes the stud needs to be adjusted so it makes full and consistent contact with the switch.

Somehow the connection got loose. Don't know how. Never touched it as it is tucked away. Everything works. Thanks guys.
