Today was a great day! My son and I got after the project early. We installed a new master cylinder, and the calipers we rebuilt with O-ring kits. My father-in-law who has owned it since the early 1990s, stopped in to help bleed the brakes. I then drove it to his place to give it a bath. It cleaned up amazingly well. So much fun!

Thank you! It still needs lots of work, but after setting for most of the last twenty years. Having it drivable feels like a great milestone was achieved.
Time with my son has been fun. He's learning some good stuff, and getting greasy! They grow up way too fast.

I remember sending my number 2 Son under the car with a torque wrench to torque up all the mains. I still have photos.

Great looking Corvette, congrats! Based on the cobwebs on the rims I'm thinking you need to replace the tires before one blows and takes out a fender or worse, quarter panel

you are right about that. It was a slow 2 mile cruise down a country road. Tires are on the short list.

If you decide to go with white letter tires, which I think you should, DO NOT buy BF Goodrich TA Radials. You will be sorry you did. You can search the C3 forums about this topic. Lots of unhappy customers, including myself!

No Wayne that I know of. But he would probably find something of interest. I don’t know what is in all of them, but there’s a good number of antique and classics around.
