I mounted one but really is a curb camera so it's pointed more down than back (I can see out the back fairly well, curbs... not so much). I mounted it to a plate that screws into one side of the license light above the plate
Wouldn't take much to change the angle to point more backwards I guess

I had one that mounted to a rear licenxe plate bracket and was tied to a mirror that strapped to the existing mirror so nothing was permanent. I mounted it permanently in the trash. It was so wide that I couldnt see well to my right side over the hood...big blind spot.
have one now that is tied to the bluetooth in my phone...never use it because it takes so long to connect...more chinese garbage. It too mounted to a license plate bracket
