Weather takes a big nose dive tomorrow here in NW Ohio so I took a 60-mile top-down cruise this afternoon. Tank is now filled with StaBil added, convertible top up and in place for the winter. Car stays in my unheated garage for the winter with a trickle charger attached. Any clear days without salt residue or moisture on the roads during the winter is an opportunity for the occasional off-season drive.
Always look forward to spring and spring training.
I pull all the batteries out of the boat and the zero turn mower. They are stored in my heated shop.
Our Mustang I just go out and start it once every 3-4 weeks and let it run for 20-30 minutes. Never had an issue.

I never put any additives in gas , I just start her every couple of weeks and drive a little when there is no salt .never had no issues come spring . My opinion I think it is the worst thing to keep a motor stagnant for 6 months creates many problems

I've been storing my Vette every winter starting with it's first....'76-'77. Usually for up to 5 months.
Except for once or twice when the weather was nice enough to go for a spin, I never start it up.
It has 78k on the clock now and I've never had any problems....

Pretty much the same here. I have had my 76 for 25 years and every year, the process is the same. Fill it with gas and put it in the garage or trailer. I pull the battery out and put it on a trickle charger and close the door. I don't touch it until the weather warms up in the spring. Haven't ever had a problem. I throw the battery back in it in the spring, pump the gas 3 times and fire it up. Oh, if you could only see the smile on my face!! Yeah Boy!!!

its all fine and dandy until the day it doesnt work and instead of spending $10 bucks on a cheap chemical your spending hundreds of dollars and time in cleaning your tank, lines and carbs to get the gum out.....
