ok, i resemble that remark. we sold the jersey house the day of Ian. and Ian's wall came within a mile of our new house. but they build them tough down here. insurance adjuster finally showed yesterday. so i could start clearing the tree that punched a hole in our roof out of the yard. and my beautiful patch of unspoiled jungle next door now is at a 45 degree angle...
There's a spot in North America somewhere that the weather is not to hot, not to cold, not inline with hurricanes or tornado's, isn't a desert or swamp, not too rainy or too dry, not controlled or overrun by the local drug cartel or militia, etc etc etc but the three bears who live there are still pissed that some blond came in and ruined everything they had so they're not gonna let us move in...

Coming on Summer time here. Been very Hot the last couple days. that time of year to double check the Air-Con. living in south-east Queensland Australia has some advantages.
we bought this house partly for the view off our back porch. they call them lanais down here. no i did not tilt the camera... maybe this belongs in the politics section. they are all leaning to the right.
(they sprayed the main roads here with brine yesterday so I guess I'm done. I've already got a winters worth of projects on the board so might as well accept that the season is over for another year)

Im holding out til they salt here too. I think the magic land of just perfect is the northern Arizona foothills...No humidity, below the snow line and no salt....I just got my car put back together and it was just before 6 pm and getting dark fast....so I cant test drive until tomorrow....hopefully the nice weather in MY neck of the woods holds out
For those of you that will use a battery charger (trickle charger like the CTEK), do you leave the battery in the car with the charger wires hooked up, close the windows and cover the car? I read somewhere that it's not recommended.
I guess ultimately the way to go is to remove the battery and hook it up, but if it's possible to leave it in the car, it would be great.
I tried a search on the forums but didn't get very much out of it.
