Automatic Shifter Cable Replacement
First one came from local auto parts store. Pioneer brand. Fitment was perfect but there was a lot of slop once bent into shape and installed. too much space between cable and its sheath im guessing.
Second cable came from Ecklers. Orig. clips dont fit, cable hole cover doesnt cover the hole and when in park the rubber boot is stretched so tight it flys into reverse when the shifter button is depressed.
Where can I get a good shifter cable?

Shiftworks sells an adjustable length cable for our cars. I put one on my '73 a few years ago when I did an engine/tranny swap. I first sourced a cable from one of the Vette parts vendors and it was a piece of junk (arrived with a kink in it). I've not had any issues with the Shiftworks cable.
