I don't know whether the size you ordered is correct but I was trying to order 10 inch wide, 15-inch CRAGAR SS in the pattern and backspace to fit my 1972 Cutlass 442 and the wheel would normally have been made by their custom shop BUT, due to labor /material circumstances, CRAGAR shut down their custom shop last year. The girl I talked with in November, I believe, said they were going to try to open it back up in early 2023. I'll be calling in the next few weeks to check. The car isn't done but I'll order the 10 inch wide back ones so I can be sure to have them for the car. This might be the problem with the wheels you want for your C3!
Wheel, 61C S/S Super Sport, Steel/Aluminum, Chrome, 15 in. x 8 in., 5 x 4.75 in. Bolt Circle, 4.250 in. Backspace
You ordered the correct size, and if Summit doesn't have them, they're usually nowhere to be found at this time. Keep checking, sometimes they arrive earlier than expected. If you have stock calipers, I hope you ordered the 1/2" spacer kit too.
The old ones rusted bad. But I had a new set a few years back on my ‘69 and not a spot. The new ones are nothing like the old Cragars.
Well, they shouldn’t for what they charge for them today.
I have TFs on my 65 and you see tons of them pictured here on the forum. Fortunately you seldom see another midyear on the street these days unless you go to a Corvette show so you don’t see them often.
Now if you want a nice looking wheel that you seldom see these days check out the Keystone Klassics.
lol... would love to but don't actually have the car yet, being shipped from Florida and scheduled to be here tomorrow, will have them on first thing and take some pics, going on this 69
I actually purchased the wheels before purchasing the car, knew I wanted these wheels and "wheelsforless" had a sale for $1,400 mounted, balanced with lug nuts delivered to my door, couldn't pass it up.
I've had my current set of Cragar SS wheels for over 5 years now, with no signs of rust. In fact, they can't rust......I got the Vintage Series 610C chrome plated aluminum ones.I wanted the aluminums to save weight and they still look brand new. https://www.cragarwheel.com/wheels/p...l/series-610c/
For some reason, they don't look "Vintage 70's" to me. Maybe since they weren't avaible back then?
that's what was readily available at the time, wanted 255/60 and RWL, only two options (neither available in the early 70s) the Coopers where the only available at the time and couldn't beat $1436 all in with lugs and delivered.
I will be putting the same on the rallies tomorrow (just got the car) and go back and forth now and then.
Sorry my bad, I guess the goodrich were available in early 70s

Keystones are made by CRAGAR, I believe! Yes, they are nice mags.
