Looking for a good project?
I'm usually hanging out in the C4 group but came across this one and thought I'd share it with you all. Not my car but thought it deserves some consideration being that it looks like it hasn't been Bubba'd too much and is a 4 speed. What do you think?

A talented restorer ? and original? unfortunately both are incorrect.
The car needs a lot more research before talking price. VIN shows it should be an L82 as the 5th digit is a 4 and normally would have a L82 badge on the hood. The engine compartment reveals what looks like a L48. The seats are not original and come from a 79 or newer corvette. So bottom line I would not trust the ad description.
A 4spd L48 could be fun for the right price for someone if you can find out what you are getting but further details and inspection is mandatory.
Good link for someone looking to pay less than $7500 but buyer beware.

I assumed it was a L48 looking at the engine compartment but wasn't well versed enough in C3's to pick up on the vin noting it as an L82. Does make one wonder about how legit it is. I agree it needs more info to make it worth pursuing.
