Yes, no problem since you have access to a 10 ton press, the strut rod bushings don't really require a shop press any good bench vise will get the job done. If you were to buy a shop press I would go with a 20 ton.
I broke my vice leadscrew nut in half, was cheap muck metal casting....
I was contacted by a guy on FB he used his 1948 craftsman vise as a press, tore out the female threaded section & now looking
to have it fixed. Has sentimental value so wants to fix it. He has a press but has to much junk to move around to get to it
(like me)
from the pictures he sent I have caught a glimpse of a 67 Chevelle, 64 Malibu 4 door/6 cylinder, front end of an orange chevy
it looks, another frame on the floor, huge garage with to much stuff, can't even get the blue car out of the garage he says
Looks like a perfect job to help another fellow rodder.
I feel that the 10 ton is a bit lite for automotive work. Get a 20 ton, you won't be sorry.
Actually I would have preferred a 50 ton press for my garage, but you have to draw the line somewhere. My last job before I retired has a 500 Ton press. When seating parts the 1 1/2 inch steel plate under what you're press would flex! I miss having access to those machines along with the camaraderie of my fellow workers.

I thought of a 10 ton then 20 ton then a used 50 ton came up on the buy and sell for 150.00 and I bought it,
No regrets at all
trailing arm rebuild easy like butter, Haven't done the A arm or spindle supports but should come out and you must use braces so you don't break the spindle supports
