I finally had to use my cellphone to upload pics of my new to me C-3 coupe, 3 speed manual, 350/300, T-tops, PS. base model 1969. Frame off restoration in 2012, car has 3500 miles since restored!
That is nice and tidy. That is one little bitty transmission. I'm surprised it doesn't have the sparkplug shields for the wires since it was a restoration. I was eyeballing that because I'm pondering installing some on mine.
Looks to have an aftermarket power steering. Like borgeson steering box. Looks excellent overall. Might want to look at that fuel filter an rubber hoses to carb. Should be a steel line.
yes, I plan to keep it the way it is for now. 3 speed isn't that bad for just driving around town. If I want to go hit the twisties I'll jump in the V for speed and air conditioning
Nice car. It looks very fresh and may require some frequent nut and bolt checks after your initial shake down drives. I noticed that the rear strut bars look bent. Is that a lens distortion from your camera? I like the upgrade from the std. 300hp painted steel valve covers to the 350hp finned aluminum units 👍🏻. You may want to correct the weird angle exit on the tailpipes. Thanks for posting the pics 😎
You have one extremely clean car, I would bet you a lot of money that our infamous friend Bubba never touched your car. Enjoy and welcome to the Forum.
