I never understand why people find factory seats uncomfortable....I could ride in the car from PA to CA in them......much better than most of the modern cars I have driven......BUT....I am looking for a nice set of 68/69 seats with headrests for my 69 convertible...so if you decided to put other seats in your car,,,would be interested in yours...assuming a reasonable price.

Have yet to make the decision.
I never thought my C3 seats to be uncomfortable,
as you have stated. However I also have had a 2014 vette and those seats are very comfortable.
if I part with my bright blue seats will likely post them up here.

they will fit in the 68 but you have to modify them to accept the 68 seat rails. I pulled the motors out of them but left in the pumps so the lumbars and side bolsters still inflate...I have a thread somewhere

wont work with that video..the 68 floor pan and seat brackets are different...My budies 75 they bolted almost straight in,,he juyst had to drill a few holes
I put C5 Z06 seats in my 69. Had to remove the electric stuff and used adapter plates to my 69 seat rails. They hold me better when spirited street driving.
69 seats I just slide around.
No offense, but in my opinion C5 seats are not attractive, not that comfortable, and have little lateral support. If you must stay the brand, C6 seats are a better choice. Otherwise, have you been to a pick a part wrecking yard lately. I was amazed on how many late model high end cars showing up there. It's not hard to find a nice set of seats out a German or Japanese model.

Scroll down through the pictures. Just after the climate control i explain everything i had to do to get them to fit in the picture captions. It shows the seats mostly disassembled to do the work

Bring a tape measure. C3s have a very narrow cockpit. But there certainly are a lot more viable non-Corvette options now, vs. just Miata and Fiero seats.
C1nicole -- C5 seats onto C3 tracks are so popular most of the Vette parts houses sell adapter plates to mount the seats right to the C3 tracks you have vs drilling a few new holes into the C5 seat frame to align with the C3 track spacing.
Have you seen the price of those adapter plates....a liiiiittle over priced
OH YES I CERTAINLY HAVE -- BUT for those looking for a ready-made solution (and arent DIYers) there are some.
I personally threw up in my mouth when i saw the pricing on those stupidly simple brackets........................
