Hi Gordon , how did you remove the Motors from the seats, did you have to ad shims for the rake angle?
I just put a set of C5 Z06 seats in my'80 last weekend. I ended up using the original seat tracks, and I bolted a 1/8" by 2" piece of steel onto the original seat tracks. I bolted the C5 seats to these pieces of steel.
You just unbolt the C5 seats off of their original seat tracks.

Did you use the original tracks from your 80 or the original one from the z06? Are the seats power seats?
Did you remove the motor? If yes How. One last question was it a bolt in once you used the 80's racks?
The original seat tracks in my '80 were not power. The C5 seat just unbolted from the entire power seat assembly. I ditched the C5 seat tracks. I'm actully thinking about selling them to recoup some of my $$$
