Occasionally it won't shift into a gear. It feels like the slider goes over the brass synchro ring but then is stopped before going onto the gear. I've never encountered this MO before. It never grinds.
My thought is that the surface of the synchro ring sometimes sticks to the gear when its teeth are not in alignment with the synchronizer teeth on the gear, thereby blocking the slider from its full movement onto the gear.
Anyone else had this issue?
Brad Penn Multipurpose Classic GL-4 Gear Oil 023-7729 80w90 is in the box.
Unless I hear another solution, I'll try a different oil and see if that helps.

I would check your linkage and make sure it isnt worn or the shifter isnt loose on the housing. GL4 is a good oil so I wouldnt think the oil is the issue
