Ok, so how does the hand crack for the window come off…? Bought a tool to get it off but still can’t figure it out…

You go in from the **** side with the tool......you will have to push the door panel and collar in a bit to line up the blades on the tool with the slot where the clip is inside.......

You don’t need the tool, just a rag. See this YouTube video. How to Remove and Replace a Car Window Crank Handle

Are you removing the door panel? If so, start with the lock **** to get a grasp of how it attaches.

yes I am, driver side door doesn’t open fro the inside, I have to roll down the window, press on the outside handle and pull on the inside handle at the same time. Then I have to pull up on the glass with one hand and turn the crank with the other to get the window up. Time to see what’s going on inside… 😜

When you are ready to install the handles / *****, do a test fit w/o the clips first so you know exactly where they need to go. Then install the clips, line up the handle and one good whack with the palm of hand sends it home.

Dental floss works really good too. The weird fork tool will work but you have to line it up almost perfect
