Default Lower Control Arm Identity Question

Years ago, I bought on eBay (?) a set of C3 lower control arms. These were for a C3 rolling frame I have built for my 1970. They look exactly like the C3 lower control arms on my 1968 and my 1970. By look alike, this includes the attach bracket welded on for the front anti-sway bar. Problem. They are not dimensionally correct. They are about an 1 1/4 inch shorter in length than real C3 control arms. Mounted on my 1970 rolling frame, the distance from ball joint to ball joint is about 2 1/2 inches shorter than the same dimension on my 68. I can also tell they are too short to be C3 control arms because the steering rods, are too long to mate up to the spindles .....when I install the steering rods at their minimum length, The car has noticeable undriveable toe-in.

Anyone have a clue as to what kind of a car these things are intended for? I hate to throw them away. They look new and the bushings were installed by Dick Guldstrand's Motorsports garage. They look so much like real C3 control arms, they weren't noticed as being bogus by his employees. I bought a set of upper control arms....I think from the same source. I don't know if they are identical to C3 uppers or not. My current control arms are tubular arms bought from Global West and they integrate perfectly with the C3 steering rods.

There's no part numbers or identifying mark on the control arms. I assume they are made in China. Someone went to the trouble of and expense of building the tooling, surely they must have been intended for a particular car. I've read that the C3 lower control arms are identical to control arms used on a big body Chevy sedan, but those on a sedan have the sway bar attach bracket on the back side of the control arm, not the Corvette position on the front of the control arm. They apparently are not C2 control arms since I've read C2 and C3 control arms are interchangeable.
