I am working on my C3 project and I ordered a Edelbrock 1002 air cleaner, thinking it would fir as it is on the smaller side. Unfortunately the hood hits... I am hoping someone can share pictures of the air cleaner that fits the hood. It looks like the inlet into the hood opening is approx. 9.5" x 7". Thank you for any input!
There is really nothing that will fit with a Team G and the airbox.......you will have to cut the air box out.......then you can put a 14x3" factory style drop base air cleaner like for 70-72 LT-1 350.
The Crossfire was a super low profile setup......I had the same problem with my 82 Z/28.......had to remove the cold air setup for anything to fit with just a 2101 Edelbrock Performer......
