Took my trailing arms off as part of a refresh of the rear suspension. The previous owner had the trailing arm bushings changed a few years ago and I’m trying to decide if i need to redo them or if they are ok to re-use. The rubber appears to be in good condition and the bushings show very little wear, but I’m not sure they are properly done. I expect them to line up with each other, but these don’t appear to be. Take a look and let me know what you guys think. I’d rather not spend money where it’s not necessary
They look O.K. The end of the arm looks slightly crushed. He didnt use a spacer in the I.D. when he pressed in the new bushings.
Leave the bushings installed....but use a metal wedge to spread the I.D. of the collapsed halves of the trailing arm apart.
Then reweld the place where the arm overlaps itself.

Doorgunner,
Thank you for the great advice. That sounds like a workable plan.
The inside end is not fully flared, the flared end is not ground flat, total amateur. Does the bolt slide in without binding? You can save a dime and reuse them as is or do it right now while the arms are out. How is the rest of the arm and bearings?
