I have a 78 that originally shipped with dark blue interior. At some point someone did a color change with a beige and newer clamshell style seats.
I was going to change it back to factory but the current color is growing on me. It needs an interior refresh either way even if I keep it as is. Can anyone help me identify what color this might be? I’m not sure if it’s doeskin or camel? The seats even look two toned.
If the seats and door panels are the same then fold the seats down and look for an area that has not faded or gotten messed up. Usually where the hinge is. They appear to be doeskin and I don’t know why the seat inserts look so different. Also (I have just gone through a similar project ) the doeskin armrests are not the same shade as the vinyl door panels. They are close when new but the hard plastic armrests have an almost yellow tint to them. Oh. I also discovered there is more than one doeskin. Different years different colors. Just pick the one for your year and go for the whole set up. Good luck.
