82 crossfire Emissions

Has anyone removed the smog pump and emissions on an 82 crossfire without any ecm issues. I don’t have a smog check where I live. Just trying to clean up the engine bay and make it easier to work on.

You can removed it with no issues.

Yes. I’m the same guy. I have not fixed it but I’m certain that someone has done some messing around with the wiring. I’m going to follow a diagram I found on the fuel pump wiring and see where he made changes. I also asked the question about getting rid of the smog junk. If it effects the ECM or any issues. I don’t have testing in my area.
