Diff Rebuild
100% this question has been asked and answered many times.
I have completed the rebuild on my 77 Diff. The only remaining item is to check the hardness of the ends of the shafts.
Car is an Auto, not a high horsepower build and the shafts are in good condition.
Diff is all rebuilt and comes up good (good enough for me anyway LOL).
Edit. What is the hardness I am seeking?
Thanks in advance, much appreciate the support from this forum.
Jeff.

I am seeking the hardness so I can check my shafts, and have them hardened if required.
I have fully stripped and rebuilt the diff, this is the last bit i need to do to complete (and fill with oil).

Houston we are getting static on the fiber optic cable

If you were concerned about the hardness, you should have checked BEFORE assembling the stub shafts, now take it back apart & see if they are around Rc48
