BTW, something I think of sometimes, and I'm sure everyone here is going to tell me what an idiot I am.... But, just thinking out loud here, since I work from home ....A) if you have the car on the concrete and for some reason the house caught on fire (ok, that's *never* going to happen to you) ...but if it did, and you're home...you (or your conscientious neighbor) might just have enough time to roll the vette out. Maybe there wouldn't be time, but at least have a *shot* of potentially saving it. Which probably wouldn't be the case if it were up in the air.
OTOH, B) if some evil-doers went through your stuff & wanted to 'steal' it while you were out, most theives are probably too lazy to remove it from the jackstands or whatever system you employed and probably figure it didn't run anyway. Esp if a wheel was off.
I don't know which is better ...just thinking out loud. I have mine on jackstands at the moment with no wheels on it. (doing work)
