ok whats the trick mounting the luggage rack? the well nuts dont expand enough to work.? i bought them from a ace hrdwre store. are the ones u get from corvette stores differant? i need 6 well nuts and 1 bolt.
Just make sure the ones you bought are more or less snug in the holes and they need to be long enough, that's what determines if they puff out enough to grab underneath the deck. They aren't anything "corvette special" I got mine at the hardware as well.
FWIW. I found some rubber washers that were the same thickness as the wellnut head (that's what's sitting beside the wellnut in the pic) and some stainless fender washers the right size and used them for the mount pad rather than the plastic ones
