Default Slow build

Well I'm making progress bad shoulder and all.
Got my block back from the machine shop and have the short block built.
Waiting to recover from that to install the heads and intake. I can remember days gone by when getting this car going would have been a three weekend job. I'm now a couple months into it and have another three months or so before it's up and running. Anyway hope you folks are doing good and enjoying life as best ya can.

Lol. Wish I could afford Aluminum heads.
Getting the block built was two grand.
I have a good set of 202 heads I'm going with.

Are you going to number / stamp the blocks pad?

Looks like someone milled the front China wall but not the rear? Illusion?

The heads came off a running engine but yes I am replacing the valve seals on them. The engine wasn't smoking before they were removed.
However a new opening was created in the block that neither J-B Weld nor duct tape and bailing wire could repair. So parts that could be salvaged were stripped and repurposed.
