I've been chasing what I think is an electrical issue with my 82 CE. While running g it will lose all power - no CEL, no sputter and stop, just dead. It will usually start again but occasionally is a hard start.
I replaced the O2 sensor based on a previous code, but am still having the problem. I'm working my way through the grounding points given it appears to lose ALL power when this happens.
Also, when it quits the brakes will apply unevenly until I apply the brakes rolling backwards (not making this up). Is there a kill switch in the brakes I haven't seen yet in the shop manual?
You probably need to look for a year specific Corvette Electrical Trouble Shooting Manual. I am guessing they were available for all model years. I have seen members display some of the pages, and the information seems to be very detailed.
