Front left signal wiring
My front left signals have stopped working. Both bulbs are good. If I run a bypass wire using the light blue wire under the hood, and bypass the front parking/signal light socket (minus the bulb) and ground it with a volt tester and turn the left signal switch on, then the side signal light works. If I place the bulb back in the socket, and turn the left signal on, then neither front nor side signals work. On a side note, the parking lights both come on when I pull the light switch out to the first position. Any advice? Also, does anyone know the wiring pattern for that front signal/parking bulb socket...there are 3 wires...2 come into the end and one sits on the side of the socket. Thanks in advance.

I had something similar on my 79. The right front signal would work and then stop working. I crawled under and would wiggle the wire leading into the socket and it would work. Let go and it would stop. Changed out the socket and haven't had a problem since. Good luck.
