We were on a tight deadline since he wanted to get his senior portraits done while the almond blossoms were still in full bloom. Sunday evening, we had a photographer scheduled at 4:00 PM. My son and I have been working on the nose for the last few weeks and got it mounted with one hour to spare. This nose would not fit around the turn signal grills so I had to do several cuts to expand it and to fit along the side fenders. I do not know where the nose piece came from just that it is a hand laid fiberglass bumper. I know the paint does not match. We will get the entire car reshot when we address the back bumper. Someone at his high school backed into it the rear bumper and now that thing has about 10 cracks. Luckily white duct tape is cheap. He is going to get an insurance claim on that issue. I have a few friends who own collision repair shops. They will get him taken care of. I still have some more final massaging to do with the front bumper and around the headlights. I do not know if we will address the hood at all. Plus the passenger fender has a couple of spots to get filled and ground. Overall, I am happy that the nose is installed. He needs to get the lower air dam and the valance for it. You can see the crack at the headlight and one chunk on the other side.
Now, I have to let my hands heal up and get rid of the itchy glass.
As I told him its good enough for the girls we date. He did not like that saying since he is dating a ballet dancer (no not a pole dancer).
