Got the splash shields. I’m currently still relocating the coils on my LS so not ready to fully install but did cut out a big chunk prob 2.5”x6” to wrap around my long tube headers. This is not a stock application hence the cutting but they will for sure protect my coils and the floor boards from debris. They are 14 gauge I would guess and just flat black painted steel. Holes line up and everything in the frame.
got them installed tonight. This is a 78. I had to make small modifications to the shields where they met the headers basically two cuts each to take a chunk off. Then a slight bend in the metal to contour the frame. Used an impact with antiseize on the screws and just cranked them into the frame. The metal is thick enough and supported enough I might not even bother mounting the brackets to the floor pan for the other back inner area. These are going to work out perfect for hiding and protecting my remote mounted LS coils and the floor boards.
