Emblem measurements?

Hooray!
A pair of these showed up today.
Now for my issue, after paint job number one. I could make out the dimples that once where the pin holes. As you all know paint job number 1 was horrific.
Then after paint job number 2. Well,
Absolutely no evidence of any holes ever being there.
So.
My question is, could one or more of you super great guys take a couple measurements of the location of these stingray emblems so I can get them repositioned correctly.
like, from the bottom of the R and the bottom of the T to the body crease below. From the lower trailing edge of the tail of the S to the edge of the fender on the right side and the upper most part of the Y to the edge of the fender on the left side.
And if you think of anything else. Well that would be great.
I know I can just quess. Looking at photos and all. But a few measurements would be great. No second chances drilling holes with a fresh paint job.
Thanks heaps guys.

I would measure my 69, but I had all the emblems removed except the 427 on the hood.

using the alarm switch in the drivers side fender as a sort of guage. I see a ton of variation between cars.
So, with that in mind, I made up a template.
And I punched out the holes with a gasket punch.
And came up with this.
It extends out on both sides a equal amount to get the distance from the trailing edge of the fender to the emblem the same on both sides.
Then carefully taped and measured.
And the next thing you know, I had holes in my brand new paint.
Always a bit nerve wracking drilling into new paint!
Then here it is, just mocked up.
Now I'll move onto the other side, but need to move the car as my garage is extra tight. So enough for today. But with my template I can get the other side a near perfect match, then clean the fenders really well and permanently install the emblems.
