Brake booster/master question
So, after tearing my 71 apart many years ago. I ended up tossing the master cylinder, figuring the PO screwed it up anyway.
I am now rebuilding and read information that I am unsure of.
I purchased a 1971 master cylinder, but after reading info from another source, discovered my booster has the recessed mounting point ( I believe that means its 76 or later ).
Can I use the master cylinder that I have, with this booster, or do I need to get a newer Master Cylinder.
I also have no push rod, so would just ensuring the rod length is correct be OK with this Mater Cylinder?
I have a measuring tool, then realized I was missing the rod ( this is what happens when you tear a car apart, then move into a different house )
