Whew, I’m gonna guess “getting rid pf the chrome” makes it “a proper car” is a minority opinion.

Anyway, the price for a post ‘72 Corvette is way out of line, particularly an automatic coupe.

(PS I had 2 ‘73 auto coupes and loved them both. The numbers just arent there, though.)

Must be an east coast thing. My Elkhart Green '73 is VERY popular with the ladies at the shows I participate in, and I kinda like it, too. I've had more than a few people interested in buying it as well, but since I've had it for almost 51 years I always refuse.

Before I asked in this forum about the 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C3 (price 29 000 USD) , and everyone said it was too expensive. However, I checked other listings on this website [https://dyler.com/cars?sort=newest&y..._id%5B%5D=212], and it's even more expensive than what I had asked about previously. Is it because most cars are not being sold by private individuals?

If you want to pay dealer prices, buy a car at a dealer. Check this one, too:

https://www.hobbycarcorvettes.net/

And those are ASKING prices. You'll need to use a different site so see SOLD prices. Bringatrailer.com is good for that.
