There's nothing wrong with LEDs, almost everywhere. The GEN light might be an exception, but there is likely a work around for that, too. I have a thread that explains the pitfalls. I'll post the link when I'm not on my phone.

The "GEN" light might be the only exception, though you could possibly add a resistor to that circuit. There are a few hoops to jump through to go all LED elsewhere, too.
