Default Fix / Replace 4 port client control valve

Hi everyone,

So I am slowly working through the rebuild of my '69. Right now I am sorting the vacuum system, most of which is working awesome.

Where I am stuck is on the climate control valve. My car is a non-AC, so I have a 4 port valve. One of the ports is clogged / blocked. So I am at at the point of do I try to take it apart and figure it out, or get a replacement. I am happy to grab a "new" one, but all I see online are the 9 port units for the AC cars.

1969-1976 Corvette Climate Control 9 Port Valve Genuine GM 7309782 NOS

Thats the 9 port one. Some sites say it can be used in non-AC cars. So I have two questions. Anyone know where I can get a repo or replacement 4 port valve? Or, can I (and how do I!) use the 9 port for my non-AC setup.

Thanks!

Some of those ports are "non-functional" and my be blocked by design...so they can not leak. The Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual has all the info on the heater/AC control system along with vacuum system diagrams that show which ports are operational.
