A co-worker was retiring and moving back to PI where his wife was from. We had built some machines to be installed in the PI. He had the bright idea to ship his $25,000 Harley with the machines not declaring it. Don't how the customs folks found out but we are guessing some one at the receiving plant ratted him out when they uncrated the machines and found the Harley.
Customs seized it. He didn't get a chance to pay the duty and fines. They just took it. He never saw it again.
