Anyone know how to tighten a loose mirror swivel?

The "proper" way is to remove the glass and tighten the swivel clamp. The other way involves loctite, glue, dimpling the ball to try to get it to stay where it is.

Mine didn't have enough material to re-swag but I tapped one side and put a c-clip under the head of the other side and it worked out perfectly. 4 or 5 years ago, still works as it should
