So I got a weird problem. I installed the hydroboost, bled the brakes multiple times, and still can't seem to get any power from the booster. I got a new rod for it, and the master is a willwood. I got a new ps pump for it. When I turn the car on, I feel the peddle pump up, but the only time I've noticed that the brakes were actually easy to brake with were when I was turning. Everything else felt like it was just non power brakes. Anyone have any ideas?
If you have power steering, the pressure line from the pump goes to the hydroboost first, then there is a high pressure port on the hydroboost that goes to the PS pump - you should have two separate low pressure return lines to the PS Pump

So I have one line coming off the pump to the hydroboost, then a line from the hydroboost to the power steering. Then I have the low pressure off the hydroboost connecting to a tee with the low pressure from the power steering going to the tee and into the pump return

Using a T on the return lines is fine. I'd double check to make sure the lines from the pump to hydroboost and hydroboost to PS are in the correct ports
I recently installed hydroboost, Borgenson and a new power steering pump. One thing i noticed is that it took a lot of work to bleed the hydroboost and power steering. I did not like the pedal pressure once done. I rebled all the brakes ( new Wilwood calipers ) and it made a world of difference. Bleed, bleed and rebleed the entire system which takes a lot of effort. there are a few YouTube videos on the subject. I had to cycle the system with the front end elevated about 100 times per a couple of youtubers and it finally worked well. of course be sure you have the power steering hose routing correct and tight. I used stainless AN line and fittings on all the pressure lines.
Hope this welps.
