C3 Low Beams Not Working
Just rescued an 82 that's been sitting for about 15 years. When I turn on the headlights all the marker lights come on but no headlights. If I use the high beam switch all 4 lights turn on - are all 4 on normally when high is selected?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes, all 4 come on on High beam. Only 2 on low beam. The dimmer switch is on the side of the column. Just inside the lower dash on the left side of the column.
I would start there. You will have constant power to the switch when the headlight switch is pulled all the way out. You will have power on the high beam wire when high is selected. And you should have power on the low beam wire when it is selected. Should be fairly easy to determine which is which. If you have low beam power at the switch, then the switch is good. If not, well, new switch time. Then follow the low beam wire through the bulkhead connector, at the fuse panel, through to the engine compartment. Find the brake in the wire or run a new wire.

Not out of the realm of possibility that both low beams are burned out. Look closely at the bulbs—they have two filaments. If there is a gap in a filament, it is burned out.
